Compete

For students aged 9 to 14

Galactic Challenges are great opportunities for students in years 5-9 to develop their collaboration and presentation skills all while applying their STEM knowledge to a complex design problem.

The Galactic Challenge can be tailored to meet the requirements of individual institutions for a variety of participant ages and requirements. The challenge lends itself to be used as a taster day for feeder schools, a finale to a UKSDC after school club, or for an end of year challenge.

To register for an upcoming Galactic Challenge, please fill in the relevant form further down this page. Participants can register on their own, or in teams of up to 12, and will need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Please note that registration for the competition indicates permission has been granted by the parent or guardian of each participant.

Please send any queries regarding these events to general@uksdc.org or c.barker@ssef.org.uk and not the host institution.

Older than 14? You can compete in the UK and EU Space Design Competitions by entering the UKSDC or EUSDC.
